A Girl’s World is a photojournalism book uncovering what it means to be a girl by a diverse set of women in college.

What does it mean to be a woman? This is a question seven girls, Emily, Catherine, Christiana, Mariam, Violeta, Legacy, and Alyssa are answering in, A Girl’s World.

This was a semester-long independent project completed by Alyssa Gisselle Olvera with mentorship from Donna DeCesare which began Aug. 25, 2021 and was completed Dec. 4, 2021.
