Alyssa Olvera led as the visual editor for the 3 years she attended university. As a visual editor, she oversaw submissions and provided feedback, as well as mentorship, and guidance through curriculum and hands-on workshops she developed and taught during weekly photographer meetings.

Olvera worked closely with the Photography Team, Editor in Chief, Managerial Editor, and all Creative Direction department leads to develop cohesive online features and print issues each season. She creatively directed and interacted closely with over 30 production teams to create unique visual assets.
